Carla Neumann MS, LMFT
Co-Founder and Board President
Carla B. Neumann, MS, LMFT, is President and Founder of Dream Sponsors, Inc., and Creator of the My Girl TRIBE Inner Wellness Program. She has over 30 years’ experience in the mental health field treating children, adults, couples, and families with various presenting issues including trauma, stress, depression/anxiety, severe mental health disorders and difficult relationships. She also practices hypnotherapy, play therapy, EMDR, and clinical supervision. She has served in various administrative roles for community mental health organizations and developed programs for underserved, marginalized populations in rural Florida and Africa. Neumann and the team recognized the dire need for empowerment programming after interacting with indigenous females during several volunteer visits to rural Kenyan villages where she and volunteers immersed themselves in various tribal cultures.

M. Fiston Kahindo
Co-Founder and Board Director
Fiston Kahindo was orphaned at age 8 while living in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His father
was murdered, and he lost his mother a week later. Fearing for their own lives, Fiston and his
brother fled on foot. They walked for almost two months to a Ugandan refugee camp eventually
making their way to Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya. Years later, he was able to fulfil his dream of
going to school in the USA thanks to the support of an African NGO, a caring family in the USA
and several scholarships. Fiston earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business
Administration with a focus in International Business. Fiston has served in various senior
positions in Human Resources and People and Culture for various large NGO’s including Heifer
Project International, CORE, and the International Rescue Committee. He has a background in
Talent Acquisitions, Operational and Technical Recruiting within the nonprofit sector. As a Global
Recruitment Manager, Fiston was responsible for leading the search for global talent to support
the various missions while assisting in developing and implementing new and revised U.S. and
international compensation programs, policies and procedures. As a volunteer Board Member for
Dream Sponsors, Inc., Fiston is instrumental in guiding the international mission. He provides
valuable cultural and diversity advice, mentorship to the youth and assists with fundraising and
other organizational efforts to expand programming.

Roberts Ongus Omolo​
Board Treasurer
Roberts Ongus Omolo, a native of Western Kenya, is a Certified Public Accountant, with over 30
years’ experience in financial management within the non-profit sector. Roberts has served in various administrative roles and Senior Management positions such as Director of Accounting and Consolidations and Regional Finance Controller for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in New York, where he was responsible for financial oversight for 9 countries in the West African Region. He also served as
International Finance Manager for Solidarity Center in Washington DC. Prior experience includes
Grants Finance Manager in New York and Finance Director, Sudan Program for the United
Methodist Committee on Relief. Roberts has also held finance and administrative Roberts is also a
member of the Advisory Board for World Compassion Fellowship. He has not only been
instrumental with budgetary and bookkeeping needs at Dream Sponsors, but has also provided
guidance and valuable cultural insights as it pertains to Kenyan culture and fiscal management.
Roberts currently lives in the Washington, DC area with his wife and family.

Alexandra (Lexy) Sanguinetti​
Board Director, African Culture Project Consultant My Girl TRIBE™ Inner Wellness
Lexy Sanguinetti is an international travel and business consultant with over 20 years’ experience
facilitating trade, cultural exchange and education between Africa and the United States. She
graduated High School in Kenya with honors and graduated cum laude from Lynn University in
Florida with a BS in Business Administration and Specialization in Aviation Management. She
Founded a consultancy business in 2013 specializing in cross-continental travel and trade
between the two regions while also providing services for world renown safari lodges in Africa.
The company brokers transactions, builds relationships, provides creative solutions and offers
professional support for increased business between continents. Through her own personal and
professional work, both in East Africa and the USA, Lexy realized and continues to satisfy, a
growing demand for her knowledge, creativity and expertise in helping others travel and trade
between the two regions. She has facilitated cultural exchange opportunities for learners and
travelers of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
Lexy joined Dream Sponsors, Inc. in 2008 and remains a key leader in program development and
implementation. Currently living in Kenya, she provides Dream Sponsors with cross-cultural
consultation, translation, global oversight, management of social media, marketing, and valuable
connections to African organizations. She assists in all levels of the non-profit organization’s
operations.

Tom Neumann
Board Director
Tom Neumann has served as a board member of Dream Sponsors, Inc. since the organization was
founded in 2006. He is former owner and licensed insurance agent for the Tom Neumann Allstate
Agency in Wellington, Florida that he founded in 2006. He was an active member of the Rotary
Club of Wellington, Florida for many years serving as two-time past president and held various
roles on the board of directors. He was an active member of several local chamber of commerce
organizations as well as various networking groups. Tom has been instrumental in fundraising
efforts and event planning for the board of Dream Sponsors and assists with administrative
oversight of the organization.

Carrie L. Masterson, BS,
Physician Assistant
Carrie L. Masterson, BS, Physician Assistant, is the Health and Wellness Consultant for the My Girl TRIBE Inner Wellness Program. She has worked in various health-related capacities as a Physician Assistant, including Women’s Health and Family Planning Services; as a Physician Assistant Program College Assistant Professor; as well as teaching health, nutrition, and food safety programs as an Aid for Penn State Extension Programs. She previously founded her own health and wellness business, Supportive Foods Consulting Services, and has a great passion for food safety, health, and wellness education. Carrie has developed the female health and wellness segment of the My Girl TRIBE program and teaches a creative method for rural girls to track their menstrual cycle, understand fertility, and care for their female bodies. She also developed a training segment on the practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and the serious health risks of this dangerous practice.

Maria T. Sherman
Art Director, Illustrator & Graphic Designer of the Workbook/Journal
Maria T. Sherman is the Art Director, Illustrator & Graphic Designer of the Workbook/Journal. Maria has over 35 years’ experience in the graphics design field. She has been the art director for several advertising agencies along the USA east coast, working on national accounts and had her own advertising agency for eight years. Her work experience includes marketing, design, and illustration.
Dreams Sponsors, Inc. Advisory Committee
in Bunyore, Western Kenya

Silas currently serves as Chairperson for the Dream Sponsors, Inc., Kenya, Bunyore-based Committee. Silas holds a Diploma in Nursing from Kisumu Medical Training College and a Certificate in Psychiatry from Mathare Medical Training College. He joined the Dream Sponsors team in 2015, serving as a team nurse, focusing on the medical needs and well-being of the organization's sponsored youth. In March 2025, Silas was unanimously appointed as Chairperson, succeeding Rev. Jorum Andayi, who had served since the organization began in 2006. The elder, Reverand Andayi had to step down due to medical issues.
Silas Odwori Manyobe
Chairperson

John serves as Secretary of Dream Sponsors Inc. Kenya Bunyore Based Advisory Committee. He has also been an avid mentor for the sponsored youth beneficiaries often intervening with challenges and issues faced by the orphan youth. He is a respected problem-solver always willing to help the youth succeed. He holds a diploma in Electrical Engineering from National Youth Service. He is also trained in Strategic Leadership Management. John currently works with the National Government as a respected Chief. John has faithfully served the organization since 2008.
John Imbayi Alukaya
Secretary

Nixon Chebuche, has served as Treasurer for Dream Sponsors, Inc. Kenya, since 2014. Nixon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture and Human Ecology from Egerton University in Kenya. He also trained in Senior Management and Strategic Leadership Development at the Kenya School of Government. He is currently employed with the Agriculture and Food Authority as a Technical Advisory Officer.
Nixon Chebuche
Treasurer

Meridinah Otuma has served as Coordinator of Programming for Dream Sponsors, Inc., Kenya, since the organization began in 2006. She worked alongside her very dedicated older sister, Susan Otuma, who originally organized the Dream Sponsors team in Western Kenya. Unfortunately, Susan succumbed to a terminal brain tumor in 2020. Meridinah has served faithfully in many roles with the organization, and most importantly, she is regarded as an "Other Mother" by the sponsored orphans and vulnerable youth beneficiaries. She has cared for these children as her own and serves to mentor them while assuring their basic needs and school progress are monitored on an ongoing basis. Because of her hard work and many years of dedication, Dream Sponsors also sponsored her dream to obtain a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Purchasing and Supply Chain Management) from Kibabii University, which she now holds with honors. She currently serves as Supply Chain Management Officer for the Ministry of Health, Bungoma County Government
