For positive change to occur in our world, we must empower girls everywhere to find their voices so they can BE THE CHANGE we all want to see.
“It takes a TRIBE to raise a girl’s quality of life!”
Because We Are One Tribe: My Girl TRIBE™
WHY…
Gender inequality has negatively impacted females all around the world.
My Girl TRIBE™ seeks to unite women and girls of all ethnicities, cultures, and tribes, using their common female gender to bond, inspire and lift each other up. In our program, all girls are part of One TRIBE, no matter where on planet Earth they live.

HOW…
Through international collaborative partnerships, My Girl TRIBE™ provides formal train-the-trainer sessions and support materials to indigenous female leaders, helping them teach key inner wellness and female health concepts to girls in their home communities. In our interactive seven-session curriculum, girls learn to harness the power of their own minds to overcome challenges, achieve dream goals and to respect and care for their female bodies and minds to enhance overall quality of life.
WHO…
We serve marginalized girls and women in underserved, impoverished, rural communities in Africa, helping them deal with the risks and dangers of gender-based discrimination and violence, as well as decreasing underage pregnancies. Trainings are led by trained indigenous female lead mentors who focus on inner wellness to uniquely equip and empower girls with the tools and strategies to reach their full potential.

HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS…
Quality assurance is important to measure program effectiveness. We offer the following tools to assess our success:
-
Pre/post testing instruments.
-
Lead trainers and female child participants will use satisfaction surveys to obtain outcome data. Participant voices provide valuable feedback that can be used to enhance program elements further.
-
Regular assessments, focus groups, problem-solving team meetings, and ongoing communication help us to meet the needs of the girls and trainers.
WHY IT MATTERS…
While many organizations are attempting to address period poverty, education, polytechnical training, and menstruation training, few are addressing the inner wellness of girls in these at-risk communities. By creating collaborative partnerships with other female-focused organizations, My Girl TRIBE™ can address the “whole person” and teach the inner wellness skills to truly make a difference in their lives
