On Saturday, March 22, 2008, 25 Members of Palm Beach Central High School Interact Club directed by their teacher, Carl Rosenburg, held a car wash at Applebee’s Restaurant to benefit the Dream Sponsor mission. The enthusiastic, hard-working group raised $1150 in just four hours!!!!

After the event, the group enjoyed a delicious lunch at Applebee’s, compliments of The Tom Neumann Agency!!!!

The Interact Club is a youth-driven extension of the Wellington Rotary Club.

The Interact Clubs of Palm Beach Central High School and Wellington High School have also raised funds by soliciting donations at their school. Fellow students donating $5.00 or more, receive a complimentary hand-beaded wrist band with meaningful Swahili words.

The colorful bands were made by the creative women of the Masai Tribe in Kenya, Africa.

George Bell, of Nalcrest, Florida also distributed the bands after collecting over $300 in donations!!!
